Joining The AFM Is Easy!

AFM Race Licensing and Associate/Worker Membership applications can be submitted via MotorSportReg or using a mailed in application form. Complete information about the licensing/membership process can be found on the Membership Info page. Race Entry for AFM is done online through MotorSport Reg.

If you do not already have a license with another racing organization that participates in reciprocity with AFM you will need to complete an AFM approved NRS (New Racer School) before you receive your AFM race license. More information can be found on the AFM NRS Program page.

If you have questions about or need assistance with the licensing / race registration processes, please contact the AFM Chief Registrar: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

When racing with the AFM for the first time you will be required to enter a Clubman race on Saturday after passing your NRS evaluation (with AFM or a AFM TrackDay Provider Partner). Full information can be found at the Clubman Racing Program page.

Prior to your first race weekend with AFM you may find it helpful to participate in the AFM Mentor Program which is designed to pair up new racers with seasoned AFM experts to help answer any questions, offer insight into the AFM and set expectations for the upcoming race event.

Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding racing with the AFM.

The AFM Tech List Form will help you understand what will be checked on your motorcycle and equipment on your first day. For more info on getting started as a new racer please read the New Racer Orientation Guide.

You can find complete information on what class your motorcycle is eligible to compete in and what is required to pass tech in the current AFM Competition Rulebook.
